The included SD card and ROMs are garbage, so make sure to buy a better one. You’ll want to load OnionOS on it anyways, since it’s way better than the included UI. Make sure to get a legit SanDisk or Samsung 128 gb card if you plan to load a lot of PS1 or DS games.
I bought this as a gift for my non-tech savvy brother and loaded it with all the games we used to play as kids plus hundreds more, I’m sure it’ll be a slam dunk. It’s a fantastic personalized gift for the nostalgia factor alone, as long as you have a decent grasp on how to install the custom firmware and whatever ROMs you want. Really fun device if you take the time to play around with it a bit and do some upgrades. I’d say it’s still fun right out of the box but you’re truly missing out! The games that are already on it are just hit or miss (some are buggy, bad graphics) but there’s tons of options so you’ll find something for sure. If you do care to take the time to learn more and do some upgrades, there’s TONS of support, guides, etc online. I’m really not a computer person and I’ve never done anything like this but guides online and various forums made it really easy. I’ve got onion OS on it, a custom theme, and tons of games! Overall pretty good quality for the price, especially if you can get it on sale and/or use coupons. Screen looks great, buttons feel nice, meh speaker, the plastic feels a little strange/chalky but apparently this is only an issue with the retro grey. Pic with purple theme is stock os, stock theme and the pic with the green theme is onion os and a theme that comes with onion os 🙂

I had a little bit of setting up. If you don’t card, you can format the 128 Gi-Gi-SD card FAT32, get the ion form, copy it to the card, turn it on, and install it by itself. The folder is also created automatically, and you just need to hit the ROMs in the folder. The Cherry Master needs 2010 cores for Mamme.

I really don’t wanna say it’s a bad product. The buttons are awesome. It comes loaded with what I’m convinced like, every single official GBA game ever made. And that’s just the GBA. There are a bunch more packed in this. The stock OS is good. It’s too bad that my unit has some real bad bleeding and streaks going on with it. At one point, the UI in one of the games I was playing bled onto the corners of the screen. Also, it has some weird flashing going on in the borders & sometimes it would shut off on its own. The instructions say to charge it before use, which I did. It’s just that the power button isn’t secure enough for the body. Hopefully, I can reach out to them to help me out with all this because the form factor is ideal for me.

It’s perfect. You don’t need to do anything comes ready to play. I will later change the SD for a better one, but just because I have it and don’t use. The SD that comes with is fast and you don’t wait almost anything to a game open. Battery is nice as well.

Perfect product. I don’t recommend using default 64gb microsd which comes with the device. I can recommend to change it to a known brand sd card with more capacity and more games inside.

The Miyoo Mini Plus arrived early and is packed with over 1000 retro games, bringing back my childhood. Graphics look amazing, and it’s pretty easy to use. A bit small for my hands, but I’m adjusting. I bought a screen protector since it didn’t mention one. Battery life seems decent so far! It does need corded headphones, but still sounds great. Would highly recommend.

Love! Super user friendly, would be a great gift, and wonderful on the go or just playing at home. Battery life is okay at best though, it isn’t suited to just sit and play for hours at a time on one charge which is perfectly fine. Just be mindful of that. On the go, it’s absolutely fine, as i use it during commutes and just put it in my pocket or purse when i’m done and resume play when im free throughout the day. Love that it’s with onionos out the box also, makes a huge difference in the miyoo!
